I bought this set to go with a red blouse, but they work better with hot pink than red. If you want a true red go with garnet crystals instead.
Furthermore, be careful the hooks break, they do not bend. I broke them before I ever got to wear them, and they cost more to fix than they are worth.

I bought it for my sister as a gift-it was on her wish list. She did not even have it a week when one of the crystals fell out. The return process was also a hassle.
